Delay in launching MobileApps.com
To our dear app developers!
Firstly, we apologise for the delays in launching MobileApps.com. As a bootstrapped start-up, resources are always limited and a let-down by a key programmer can really jam up our plans. This is what is happening to us. By relying on a key personnel without additional backups has come back and bitten us on our backside.
We are now running on 3 engines instead of 4. Surely it is a bummer but the show must go on. Our lead programmer, Aiwei has taken over the said module and foregoing some bells and whistles in other parts in the app marketplace.
The good news is that our business partner from Japan is finally getting back on their feet, after the devastating earthquake. They are a public-listed company (listed on JASDAQ) and have expressed interest in funding us. It looks like we might be getting some firepower ($$$) soon and that is when we will really be rolling. The CEO/founder of the company is meeting our team early April. Wish us luck!
Anyway, to really launch our marketplace, we are switching to aggregating content from both Android Market and Apple Appstore. For those who want to take full advantage of our 95% payouts, you will have to claim your apps in our marketplace and upload your app file. (applies to only Android). For now, just head on to MobileApps.com, create an account there and import your app details from Android/Apple stores. For Android apps, you will have to upload the APK file to publish your apps.
Do email us if you have questions. Again, our sincere apologies!
Cheers, Al

Waiting for the new release…
